Over the years Pentland Precision have been engaged in a number of diverse projects within the Public Sector. Our experience, flexibility, and location are attractive to potential customers, including the University of Edinburgh, Essential Edinburgh, Scotland’s Rural College, and National Galleries of Scotland. Pentland Precision have the facilities and ability to assist with early stage prototyping and design proofs, through to final scale assemblies and testing.
Our work with Essential Edinburgh can be seen on Rose Street, adorning the walls of the BT Phone Exchange. Pentland Precision produced steel panels depicting the ‘Beachcomber’ poem by George Mackay Brown, with the artwork designed by artist Astrid Jaekel. We also produced the ‘Poetry Planters’ placed along the length of Rose Street.
